Family Life
He is the son of Valentin Puentes. In 1999, he married Sarah and immigrated to Canada. They have three children: Daniel, Rose and Owen Puentes. He and his twin brother Adonis first settled in Victoria, British Columbia, and worked as a duo called the Puentes Brothers, receiving a Juno Award nomination for Best Global Album at the Juno Awards of 2001.
