About Tristan Harris
Entrepreneur and technology ethicist who co-founded the Center for Humane Technology. He worked as a design ethicist at Google. He has advocated for recognizing the dangers of digital technology. In 2017, he was interviewed by Anderson Cooper on 60 Minutes about the addictive design of smartphone apps.
He grew up in San Francisco and his family moved to Santa Rosa because his mother, Victoria, wanted a more rustic existence.

In 2019, the New York Times published his op-ed, "Our Brains Are No Match for Our Technology." He appeared in the 2020 Netflix documentary The Social Dilemma. In 2021, he was named to the TIME 100 Next list.
